Occupational Therapy Goals

What Roxanne wants to achieve in the field of occupational therapy

Roxanne aims to bring occupational therapy practises to the forefront of daily life and in the workplace. She aims to demonstrate and inform how occupational therapy can be used as a proactive tool to optimise the functioning of the workplace, helping companies and individuals to achieve their goals. Roxanne intends to do this whilst educating, leading and inspiring all.

What Roxanne means in viewing occupational therapy as a proactive discipline

Roxanne believes that healthy engagement in the workplace should not only be addressed when an injury occurs, or at the onset of a mental or physical health diagnosis. Rather, she believes that occupational therapy plays an integral part in ensuring that the environmental, personal and occupational needs are met in the workplace. Roxanne believes that when occupational therapy practices are addressed from the start and integrated into the workplace, the risk of injury to mental or physical health conditions can be avoided before they occur. In the long run, Roxanne believes that the investment of occupational practises in the workplace will save costs and create a happy, healthy and loyal workforce.
